Chinese President Xi Jinping affirmed today, Friday, that the Arab-Chinese summit will lead to a brighter future, while noting that trade exchange between Arab countries and China exceeded $300 billion.
"The Arab-Chinese summit will lead to a brighter future," said the Chinese president during the Arab-Chinese Summit for Cooperation and Development in Riyadh, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
He added, "Trade exchange between Arab countries and China has exceeded 300 billion dollars," noting that "the Middle East region is witnessing great and profound changes.".
"We must uphold the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of states," the Chinese president said, stressing the need to preserve peace in the region and achieve common security, and we support Arab efforts to reach political solutions to pressing issues.
Ping affirmed: "We firmly support the establishment of a Palestinian state within the borders of 67, with East Jerusalem as its capital," pointing to "the continuation of work to build a common future with the Arab countries."
