Oil prices jump recording $87 per barrel

Oil prices jumped on Wednesday, to record $87 per barrel.
 
Brent futures were trading at $86.71/b, compared to a high of $87.39/b and Tuesday's settle of $84.25/b, while Jan23 was trading at $85.40/b close to the expiry.
At the same time, Jan23 NYMEX WTI was trading $80.44/b versus Tuesday's settle of $78.20/b.
