Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani and former Prime Minister Nuri Al-Maliki stressed on Sunday, the importance of supporting the government in implementing its ministerial program.
The media office of the Prime Minister said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani received, today, former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki," indicating that "during the meeting, they discussed the overall general situation in the country, in political, security and economic aspects."
The statement added, "The meeting witnessed an emphasis on the importance of supporting the government, in implementing its ministerial program, and searching for new mechanisms that would improve government performance and develop government policies in fighting corruption."
