Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani, confirmed that the government is focusing on the file of unemployment and youth employment.
Al-Sudani met with a group of activists, representatives of civil society organizations, and a number of talented children, as part of his visit to Diwaniyah Governorate, said the media office of the Prime Minister in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
He indicated that the government, in light of its ministerial platform, "is focusing on the file of unemployment and youth employment, and it is in the process of launching an initiative to embrace youth, and change the wrong paths that controlled in the previous stages."
The Prime Minister affirmed that "the government will adopt clear mechanisms for evaluating officials in several respects, at the level of management, integrity and ability to perform duties."
He referred to "The efforts of civil society organizations in social development and state support, as well as the importance of partnership between government institutions and civil society organizations in addressing many societal phenomena and problems," calling for coordination of joint efforts for the citizen and community service.
