Minister of Justice Khaled Shwani confirmed on Tuesday, adopting human rights standards in the Iraqi reform department, while referring to the development of a strategy to rehabilitate and build correctional facilities.
Shwani told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Ministry of Justice is working to implement human rights standards, including the rights of the inmates of the Iraqi Reform Department."
He also added” there is a strategy developed to rehabilitate and build a number of correctional facilities to prevent any overcrowding in prisons and to provide the highest degree of protection of human rights ".
