Security meeting to discuss handing over security duties to MOI

Ministry of Interior-MOI announced on Saturday, holding of a security meeting headed by Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, with senior security commanders, to discuss the timing of handing over the security responsibility inside the cities to MOI.
 
"The Joint Operations Command held an important conference headed by al-Shammari, and attended by the National Security Adviser, the Army's Chief of Staff, the Deputy Joint Operations Command, and the committee tasked with handing over responsibility to MOI," the ministry said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
 The statement pointed out that "the timing and method of handing over the responsibility within the cities between the ministries of defense and interior and defining the roles in security responsibility were discussed."
