Direct flights to Turkey from Kirkuk International Airport

    Kirkuk Governor Rakan Saeed al-Jubouri announced on Saturday, that direct flights from Kirkuk International Airport to Istanbul Airport are to start next Thursday.

    "The direct flights from Kirkuk International Airport to Istanbul International Airport will be via Turkish Airlines," said Al-Jubouri in an exclusive statement to the Iraqi News Agency - INA. 

    He noted, "The Turkish side provided great facilities to the people of Kirkuk in terms of reducing travel tickets by 50%, so that the price of a one-way ticket is $159, while the price of a round trip ticket is $275."
