Britain welcomes the confidence of the Sudani's government in Parliament

    British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly welcomed today, Thursday, the confidence of the government of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani in the House of Representatives, while stressing Britain's readiness to cooperate with the new government .

    Cleverly said in a tweet to him, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "I extend my warm congratulations to Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani on his appointment as Prime Minister of Iraq and the obtaining of his government's confidence in Parliament."

    He added that "there are some challenges facing Iraq, and the UK is ready to support Al-Sudani and his new government in taking urgent action to address these issues."
