Director of Theaters, Cinema and Theater Department, Ali Al-Sudani considered on Monday, Baghdad International Theater Festival in the capital as a real window that painted images of peace and highlighted defeating war via an aesthetic discourse.
"The festival started on Thursday, October 20th and will go on until Friday, October 28th. It is a real window by which the Iraqi theater overlooks the Arab countries and the world," said Al-Sudani in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency – INA.
He explained, "We watched Iraqi, Arab and foreign racing performances in a cultural theatrical system with sincerity, honor and honesty."
“Baghdad International Theater Festival embraced theater groups from Arab and European countries, especially Russia and Ukraine. They presented the most beautiful performances and depicted pictures of peace with their two delegations dancing hand in hand together on the melodies of the Iraqi al-Chobi. The political differences dissolved, and the war was defeated against the aesthetic discourse,” he concluded.
