Iraq offers condolences to Turkey over mine victims

Iraq offered condolences, today, Saturday to Turkey for the victims of the mine accident in Amasra.

A statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the solidarity of the Republic of Iraq, with the Turkish Republic, government and people, as a result of the explosion that occurred in a mine in the Turkish city of Amasra."

The statement added, "For this incident, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs sends its deepest condolences and sympathy to the government and people of the Turkish Republic."
