Iraqi-Omani talks discuss the attacks on the Iraqi territory, water file

 
The Iraqi delegation headed by Dr. Shahwan Abdullah discussed with the delegation of the Sultanate of Oman, raising the level of cooperation between the two countries in the (IPU) meetings.
 
The office of the deputy speaker of the Parliament said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “On the sidelines of the meetings of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) currently being held in Kigali, capital of the Republic of Rwanda, the Iraqi delegation headed by Dr. Shakhwan Abdullah Ahmed held bilateral talks with his counterpart the parliamentary delegation of the Sultanate of Oman headed by Sheikh Khalid bin Mishaal Rais".
 
The statement included,” The most important files related to raising the level of joint parliamentary coordination between both countries were discussed, while the two sides stressed the importance of continuing to support Iraq in its endeavors to confront challenges and crises, and put pressure on neighboring countries to solve problems, foremost of which is the issue of repeated attacks on its lands and the water file.
