The Commander-in-Chief stressed, according to the statement, the previously issued instructions that the security forces should fully protect peaceful demonstrators, stressing "preventing the use of gunfire and other illegal methods in dealing with demonstrations.".
According to the statement, the Commander-in-Chief called upon the media and social media pages to avoid circulating and being drawn into false news, which aims to create a disturbing atmosphere that fuels chaos and harms civil peace.
