The Basra Oil Company announced, today, Saturday, the return of loading and export operations from the Basra oil port to their normal rates.
The company said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the loading and export operations from the Basra oil port returned to their normal rates, after the technical and engineering teams in the Basra Oil Company were able to address the oil spill, in a record time and time that does not exceed 24 hours.".
The statement added, "The company will compensate for the pauses during the coming days by pumping additional quantities, without affecting the planned export rates."
