Director General of the General Authority of Customs Shaker Mahmoud Al-Zubaidi and Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Kazem Al Sadeq, on Sunday, discussed 5 files, including the comprehensive electronic system between Iraq and Iran and the entry of tourist cars.
A statement by the Authority received by the Iraqi News Agency INA, said that ", Al-Zubaidi received the Iranian ambassador Mohammad Kazem Al Sadeq, at the headquarters of the Authority."
The statement added that "the two sides discussed several topics, the most important of which is the issue of land transit, as well as customs tariffs and import rules through federal customs centers, as well as the subject of the comprehensive electronic system between Iraq and Iran, in addition to the issue of prevention and restriction of goods, as well as the entry of tourist cars between the two countries."
The Director General of the Authority pointed to "the strong economic and trade relations that bind the two countries, especially in the field of joint cooperation in customs work."
The Iranian ambassador praised "the measures taken by the Authority in facilitating and regulating the movement of Iranian visitors during their entry from customs centers between the two sides."
