Graham Potter as coach to replace Thomas Tuchel

The English Premier League club, Chelsea, announced today, Thursday, the appointment of Graham Potter as coach of the team, to replace Thomas Tuchel .

The British newspaper, “Telegraph”, revealed that the Brighton coach, currently fourth in the league, had reached an agreement to coach Chelsea after a meeting with the owners of the London club, yesterday evening, Wednesday.

The Blues management had decided to dismiss German Thomas Tuchel, as coach of Chelsea, after the team lost to Dinamo Zagreb, the Croatian, on Tuesday evening, in the first round of the European Champions League.

Tuchel left Chelsea after more than a season and a half, as he took charge in January 2021, succeeding Englishman Frank Lampard, and led the team to the Champions League crown.
