Maysan: An agreement was reached on the entry of half a million Iranian pilgrims through the Al-Sheeb port

    Maysan Province announced Friday an agreement to enter half a million Iranian pilgrims through Al-Sheeb port in the province.

    Maysan governor Ali Douai Lazem, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "More than half a million Iranian pilgrims will be allowed to come through Al-Sheeb border port to perform the rituals of the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), indicating that" it was agreed with the Iranian side on all  the security, service and health preparations at the port, while facilitating entry procedures for arrivals.

     He also continued, "The government media cell has visited the border port in order to simplify the procedures for the entry of pilgrims to the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)."

     For his part, the spokesman for the General Secretariat of the caninet, Haider Majid, confirmed to the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the joint visit of the government media cell aims to see the procedures of border port by facilitating and simplifying the procedures for receiving pilgrims ."

     The Maysan Governorate had completed all the procedures at the Al-Sheeb border port to receive more than half a million visitors to perform the Arbaeen pilgrimage .
