The Polish government estimated today, Thursday, the value of the losses incurred during the Second World War as a result of the German invasion at (1300) billion euros, declaring that it “will ask Berlin to negotiate these compensations.”.
"It is a huge amount of 6.2 trillion zlotys (1,300 billion euros), Deputy Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski, head of the ruling Law and Justice party, said during a press conference, adding that "the mechanism that will lead to Poland receiving these compensations will be" long and difficult.
