The Sovereignty Alliance announced on Tuesday, its support for any decision to dissolve the parliament and re-election.

" The head of the Alliance, Khamis al-Khanjar, said in a tweet, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA):"We are seeking, with loyal national forces, to an urgent initiative to eradicate sedition," calling on "the armed forces and all our security institutions to take control."

He added, "Iraqi blood is greater than all regulations and legal terms," noting: "We announce our support for any decision to dissolve the parliament, re-election, or any solution that restores stability."
