Head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - KDP, Massoud Barzani called on Monday, for restraint and consider the public interest.
"We are following with concern the recent events and developments in Iraq," said Barzani in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
He added, "I hope that everyone will feel responsible and maintain restraint as not resort to the language of weapons and violence in resolving conflicts and problems,"
Barzani called on all parties to "think about solutions that bring good to the Iraqi people and take into consideration the general interest of the people and the country."
