Salih appreciates the efforts to save those trapped in the accident of the collapse of the dirt mound on the Imam Ali Qattara

the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, praised today, Sunday, the efforts of the Civil Defense in rescuing those stranded in the accident of the collapse of the earthen mound on (Qattara )of Imam Ali (peace be upon him(.

The media office of the governor of Karbala said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, had a phone conversation with the governor of the holy city of Karbala, Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi."

  "Salih offered condolences to the victims of the accident of the collapse of the earthen hill at the Qattara site of Imam Ali, peace be upon him," noting that "he thanked the heroes of the Civil Defense Directorate who are making great efforts to rescue the citizens stuck at the accident site."
