Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that Moscow does not want the United States to become a party to the conflict in Ukraine, but Washington has so far refused to hear these warnings .

Ryabkov added in a press statement today, Friday: "We do not want an escalation, we want to avoid a situation in which the United States becomes a party to the conflict, but so far we do not see the willingness of this (American) side to take these warnings deeply and really seriously ."

"I want to say that we have not only issued a warning, we have repeatedly sent official signals to Washington, including in the form of a protest note, as well as through the talks that were held for this purpose, " said the Russian deputy foreign minister.

Ryabkov warned that getting more and more clearly and deeply involved in what is happening in Ukraine in terms of confronting our own military operation puts this country, the United States, on the verge of becoming a party to the conflict .

He added: “They deny this, but the facts speak for themselves, no matter how much they deny, while Washington denies its involvement in any decisions regarding the use of weapons (in Ukraine), the reality refutes this, and it is refuted by statements, including Ukrainian statements ".

According to him, it was necessary to start not to deliver these weapons to Ukraine, and now the West and the United States in particular are working to create justifications that all weapons are provided within the framework of "Ukraine's right to defend itself ".
