Defense Minister Juma Enad Saadoun arrived Wednesday at Al-Jazeera Operations Command, while issuing a number of directives.
A statement by the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the Minister of Defense Jumaa Enad arrived at Al-Jazeera Operations Command, accompanied by the assistant chief of staff for operations and a number of senior officers of the Ministry of Defense," noting that "the commander of Al-Jazeera operations, the commander of the Seventh Division and the officers of the Command staff welcomed him."
"The visit aims to review the security situation and the command's points and fortifications," the statement added.
Saadoun directed "a number of recommendations and directives on securing logistical support for the units, providing all their needs and overcoming the obstacles they face."
