Defense Ministry: The duty of the security forces to protect protesters and public and private property

The Ministry of Defense stressed that the Iraqi army is at the service of the people and the duty of the security forces to protect demonstrators and public and private property.
The ministry stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "a number of social media reported news that the 11th Infantry Division commander announced his supporting with the demonstrators, and here the ministry confirms that the Iraqi army, with all its leaders and affiliates, are at the service of the Iraqi people and stand at a distance one with the people.
