    The Council of Ministers issued several decisions during its twenty-seventh regular session.

    A statement by the Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi chaired the session, in which the overall general situation in the country was discussed, and a number of issues and ministerial files were discussed, and recommendations and decisions were issued regarding them.

    According to the statement, Al-Kadhimi reviewed developments The global economic crisis, and the government's continued follow-up to confront its effects, and also reviewed a number of security files that witnessed a remarkable development in the field of confronting terrorist groups and pursuing crime gangs, in a way that helps in strengthening security and stability throughout the country.

    The Council of Ministers discussed the procedures and steps for contracting and working at Mosul International Airport, and Al-Kadhimi directed the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, Nineveh Governorate and other relevant ministries, to expedite the completion of the requirements related to the airport; In order to start implementing it given its great importance to the people of Nineveh Governorate.

    According to the statement, the Council of Ministers discussed the electricity file, discussed the procedures and mechanisms adopted to equip citizens with electrical energy, and the continuous follow-up throughout the day for any defect in the electrical system, as well as discussing the ministry’s initiation to work on the plans developed.

    The Cabinet session witnessed a discussion of the implementation of the Internal Security Forces hospital project, which was delayed by the executing company, and the need for rapid treatment, and that it be referred as an investment opportunity.

    The session included a review of the epidemiological report, the measures taken by the Ministry of Health to confront the increase in the number of injuries, and its continuous efforts to provide the required supplies of medical treatments and vaccines.
