Detachments of the General Directorate for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances, on Friday, arrested a suspect who impersonated an officer in possession of narcotic substances in Babylon province.
A source in the Ministry of Interior stated to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "through a tactical security operation and by obtaining intelligence information, the detachments of the General Directorate for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances in Babylon arrested an accused who impersonated an officer in the Iraqi army, against whom an arrest and investigation warrant was issued."
It added, "The accused was arrested in possession of the narcotic crystal, forged seals and various types of drug tools."
it stressed that he "was referred to the judiciary to receive his just punishment."
