The Iraqi Ministry of health recorded 500 cases of asphyxia due to the dust storm that hit the country on Sunday.
Ministry spokesman Saif Al-Badr said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the number of suffocation cases in all governorates due to the dust storm has reached more than 500 cases of varying severity."
The statement added, “All the cases got better after receiving the necessary treatment," stressing that no deaths were recorded.”
