Muqtada Al-Sadr Clarifies Six Points on Formation of the Government and Distribution of Positions and Parliamentary Committees

  First: The Prime Minister to keep the Ministry of Defense and Interior and all sensitive security positions under his administration exclusively and no party or bloc has the right to nominate one of them the, Iraqi army, police and security forces must be loyal to the country exclusively. Second: if we prevent the nomination to the ministries that’s to be for the prime minister's administration, not a gift for the blocs and parties or to be subject to quotas, it must be in the hands of independent technocrats, otherwise we would have a different position. Third: The rest of positions, bodies and functional degrees, which is no less important than the ministries and seized by the (deep state) in the past, must be in accordance with the rules and bases of legal and logical correct and take into account justice and fairness and experience and away from partisan and factionalism. Fourth: Open the general nomination for specialists and competencies in accordance with strict conditions maintains the prestige of the state and to work success. Fifth: There are important positions may be one of the most important elements of reform and fight corruption ...  Prime Minister have to work to make it under his administration exclusively with consultation only no more. Sixth: Parliamentary committees are a guaranteed right for all but I advise that the distribution be taking into account the interests of the people.
