Today, Tunisia launched the first floating solar power plant in the Middle East and North Africa at a cost of 500,000 euros and a production capacity of about 200 kilowatts.
And the media quoted a statement from the Tunisian Ministry of Energy that the floating photovoltaic station extends over a total area equivalent to 2500 square meters, and will annually produce electrical energy of about 265 megawatts per hour, in addition to contributing to preserving the environment by reducing annually the emission of 120 tons of dioxide Carbon.
