The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Yahya Rasoul, announced today, Thursday, that the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service ranked fourth in the world at the level of special operations devices and teams.
Major General Rasoul said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has concluded the activities of the International Warrior Competition for Special Operations with the participation of (40) countries.".
And he indicated that "the device's employees won second place at the level of the participating countries, third place at the level of the 80 teams participating in this competition, and second place as the best combat team in storming cities."
He explained, "With this, the counter-terrorism apparatus jumped in the global ranking from the eighth to the fourth globally at the level of special operations devices and teams."
