Al-Halbousi , Tueller discuss enhancing the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Washington

Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi discussed on Wednesday, with US Ambassador Matthew Tueller ways of strengthening of bilateral relations between Baghdad and Washington.
 
A statement by Al-Halbousi's office, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said, "The Speaker of Parliament received in his office, the US Ambassador Matthew Tueller, on the occasion of the end of his duty."

"The two sides discussed the continued strengthening of bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries that serves the common interests," the statement added.

Al-Halbousi referred to" the ambassador's efforts during his tenure in Iraq in this field," wishing him success in his future assignment.
For his part, Tueller thanked the Parliament Speaker, stressing his country's continued support for Iraq in all fields; to achieve security and stability.
