A high-ranking security delegation arrived Wednesday in Anbar province to review the level of combat readiness of the units in the province.
A reporter for the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "a high-ranking security delegation headed by the Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant-General Abdul Amir Yarallah and the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Abdul-Amir Al-Shammari, arrived in Anbar Governorate to follow up security plans to protect the areas of Fallujah and Ramadi during the blessed Eid Al-Fitr period."
He added, "The delegation also followed up on the plan for the deployment of military units in recreational and tourist areas," while stressing the need to take caution and intensify the intelligence effort and raise the level of combat readiness for military units in all areas of Anbar.
