The Joint Operations Command (JOC) announced on Monday, the arrival of a high-ranking security delegation headed by Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Abdul Amir Yarallah to Nineveh province.
JOC said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "The Chief of Staff of the Army, First Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Yarallah and Deputy Joint Operations First Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, arrived in Nineveh province at the head of a security delegation that included the Director of Military Intelligence, the Commander of the Ground Forces and a number of senior commanders at The Popular Mobilization Forces”.
He added, "The visit came to oversee the military and security units and to follow up on the security situation in Nineveh province."
