Armenia and Azerbaijan prepare for peace negotiations

     Armenia and Azerbaijan announced the
    start of preparations for holding peace negotiations aimed at resolving the conflict in the Nagorno-Karabakh region.

    The Armenian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that "a decision was reached to start peace negotiations after a meeting in Brussels, which brought together Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, with the mediation of European Council President Charles Michel," noting that "Michel asked the foreign ministers of the two countries."
