The Finance Committee discusses with the German ambassador electricity and security sectors

    The Parliamentary Finance Committee discussed Monday, with the German ambassador to Baghdad, Martin Jaeger, assisting Iraq in the electricity and security sectors.
    the Media Department of the parliament stated in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "The Finance Committee headed by Hassan Karim Al-Kaabi received today, the German Ambassador to Baghdad Martin Jaeger and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of committee members Mishaan Al-Jubouri, Nazim Al-Shibli, Khalil Al-Ghazi and Sajjad Salem, to discuss bilateral relations between the two friendly countries," noting that "Al-Kaabi welcomed the delegation during the meeting, giving a brief presentation on the work of the parliament and the Finance Committee."
     
    The statement added, "The committee discussed with the ambassador issues of common interest and assisting Iraq in the electricity, security and other important sectors."
    Al-Kaabi confirmed, according to the statement, that "we have strong relations with the German embassy, as it is one of the embassies that had and still has great cooperation in holding courses and seminars related to Iraq," pointing to "The importance of striving to sustain continuous cooperation and express mutual consultation."
    For his part, the German ambassador thanked the committee for the warm reception and hospitality and the opportunity to get acquainted with the details of the work of the Parliament Finance Committee.
