The Organizing Committee for the 2022 World Cup revealed this Friday evening, the official talisman for the World Cup, on the sidelines of the drawing of the lottery.
The talisman, which will be a symbol of the tournament, was called "Laieb" and was designed to suit the Gulf environment.
The draw will be held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, at 7:00 pm Mecca time.
Qatar will host the World Cup for the first time in the Middle East and North Africa between November 21 and December 18, 2022.
29 teams have booked their places in the finals, with 12 teams from Europe, 4 teams from South America and the same from Asia, and 5 African teams, And 3 teams from North America and the Caribbean, in addition to the host Qatar team.
There are still 3 unresolved seats in the Qatar World Cup, and they will be identified next June through the two play-off matches between Peru against the winner of the UAE-Australia match, and the second match, Costa Rica with New Zealand, in addition to the European play-off in which Wales will face the winner from Ukraine and Scotland.
