PM: The next budget will support the artistic and cultural fields

Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi confirmed that the next budget will include paragraphs to support the artistic and cultural fields.

The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi received, today, a group of artists from the Cinema and Theater Department, where they reviewed the most important problems that the Iraqi artist suffers from, and the obstacles faced by artistic production."

According to the statement, Al-Kadhimi referred to "the role of art and artists in promoting correct human and societal values," calling on "artists to be a catalyst for artistic works to promote love and tolerance, improve performance and raise public taste."
