The candidate for Prime Minister Muhammad Jaafar Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr welcomed his nomination by Saving the Country Alliance for the post, calling to work in terms of restoring the state that all Iraqis aspire to.
"I am honored to be a candidate for an alliance that represents the country in all its sects,” said Jaafar al-Sadr in a tweet on his Twitter account, followed by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
He included, "Let us work together to restore the state that all my dear countrymen aspire to,”
