The Iraqi Football Association (IFA) confirmed on Wednesday, that it will provide all the needed requirements for the success of our national team in its match against UAE team, which will be held tomorrow, Thursday, at King Fahd Stadium in Saudi Arabia, at eight p.m., while emphasizing that the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup will be held in Basra.
“All media outlets should provide support and encouraging to the national team a day before the match against the Emirates, in which our team needs to win to compete strongly for the third card for the qualifying supplement," said IFA spokesman Ahmed Al-Moussawi.
He explained that " IFA is in contact with the sports authorities in Saudi Arabia to ensure the attendance of our audience, with allocating a percentage for the Emirati audience estimated at (8%) of the stadium's capacity according to the recognized regulations."
Al-Moussawi pointed out that "Al-Madina International Stadium will open its doors for our audience to enter for free to watch the match on the stadium screens, and the measures will be facilitated to the satellite channels in order to cover the match, explaining that" the visit of the Gulf Committee to Basra was positive, and the Gulf Championship 25 will be held in Basra, which is a routine visit to organize a perfect tournament and help the concerned federation show the tournament at the best level in all aspects.”
