Al-Araji heads to Dhi Qar to participate in National Day for Tolerance celebrations

National Security Adviser Qassem Al-Araji went on Sunday to Dhi Qar Governorate to participate in the celebrations of the National Day for Tolerance.

 The media office of the National Security Adviser stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Al-Araji went to Dhi Qar Governorate, accompanied by a number of ambassadors of countries accredited to Iraq, the ambassador of the Vatican, and religious, cultural and social figures."

 The statement explained, "The visit aims to attend the celebration that will be held on the land of Ur on the occasion of the National Day for Tolerance and the anniversary of the meeting of His Holiness Pope Francis with the supreme authority, Ali al-Sistani."
