Iraqi scientific expertise entering Iranian universities, receives welcoming

    University of Religions and Sects welcomed the entry of Iraqi scientific expertise into Iranian universities, while the University of Kufa confirmed the agreement between the two parties on a number of points to enhance joint cooperation.
     
    A delegation from the Iranian University of Religions visited Najaf on a shuttle tour around the Iraqi universities, including the University of Kufa, for the purpose of knowledge, scientific and cultural exchange, and discussing cooperation frameworks between universities on the basis of scientific sobriety, building and developing university institutions, writing research and publishing it via international scientific platforms, according to a statement by the Assistant President of the University of Kufa for Scientific Affairs, Mohsen al-Abadi, to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
     
    "The Iranian delegation from the University of Adian discussed with a group of participants that could enter the field of scientific and cultural cooperation between the two universities, and the exchange of teaching and development experiences via joint workshops, which will be determined during future meetings, and among the strategy of the University of Kufa in building Academic and cultural relations with international universities, including Iranian universities,” he explained.
     
    He pointed out that "the University of Kufa is culturally linked in the field of scientific cooperation and the exchange of experiences with Ferdowsi University, the University of Tehran, Shahid Beheshti and  Madresi education,” noting that "they discussed with Adian University on laying the foundations for joint cooperation in the field of scientific research and joint workshops as well as the exchange of teaching and educational experiences. We will have further discussions to establish those foundations in an optimal way,"

    For his part, the international assistant at the Iranian University of Religions, Sheikh Muhammad Mahdi Al-Taskhiri, confirmed that "the visit to Najaf Governorate came in order to sign joint memoranda of cooperation with Iraqi scientific institutions,"
     
    "We, in turn, welcome the Iraqi experiences in our university, and there will be several participants in the field of scientific cooperation and exchange of experiences, pointing out that "Iranian universities include more than 10,000 Iraqi students in various scientific fields in primary and higher studies," expressing his hope that “it will be fruitful to aim at greater cooperation with reputable Iraqi universities,”
