The International federation of football Association (FIFA) held a workshop for general-secretaries, which was attended by the Secretary-General of the Federation, Mohammed Farhan, member of the Federation Ahmed Al-Moussawi, and the Chairman of the sports Competitions Committee, Dr. Haider Aufi, as the course lasted for two days in the city of Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The Iraqi Football Association said in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency (INA) that" The workshop included topics related to the advancement of football, including talent development and women’s football development, professionalism, governance and the application of the licensing system".
He added, "The workshop witnessed the participation of general secretaries and heads of competition committees in the football associations: Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the Emirates, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain.
