The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities (MOCH) announced today, Saturday, completing an advanced work stages in al- Dujail water project in Salah al-Din Governorate, with an achievement rate of more than 60%.
MOCH media center said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "The design capacity of the project is 4000 m3/h, and it will contribute to provide the drinking water needs of the people of al-Dujail and its neighboring villages," explaining that "the project consists of four sedimentation basins, backwash basin, the ground tank, low and high thrust buildings, filters, chemicals, energy and management, in addition to one floor which is specified to the engineers and the operators, as well as the network of lines carrying pure water from the pumping station to the sites of high tanks with a length of 53 km.
