Al-Halbusi, Al-Sadr discuss political developments and services

INA - Baghdad Speaker of Iraqi Parliament, Mohammed al-Halbusi and Muqtada al-Sadr discussed the latest political developments and providing services. Bothe sides stressed the commitment to the constituional timings to choose the President and the Prime Minister. They also asserted the necessity of the coming Iraqi PM to be keen on providing services and security to the Iraqi people. Regarding choosing the next Iraqi PM, Al-Halbusi clarified that Iraq’s President to call the largest bloc to chose the Prime Minister, who should have acceptance from all political blocs. For his part, Al-Sadr stressed that the Parliament’s presidency must be for all Iraqis and not for one component, emphasizing that the coming phase would be to fight all kind of corruption. Adding that Al-Halbusi would meet number of officials and MPs of al-Najaf to discuss the constitutional timing and provides services to Najaf.
