Maysan University holds fine art exhibition

    The Faculty of Medicine at Maysan University held an exhibition of diverse fine arts with the broad and active participation of a large number of talented and distinguished college students in the fields of fine arts.


    "The exhibition included a collection of paintings that embodied the silent nature and landscape painted on paper, cardboard and cloth using pencils, wood and acrylic colors and oil colors in a variety of ways and methods that represent most of the tools used in the art of painting," Maysan University Media Director Dr. Laith Saber Al- Kaab told The Iraqi News Agency (INA).
     
    "The exhibition also included a presentation of paintings of Arabic calligraphy of various kinds, handicrafts using materials such as wood, iron and wool weaving, and this activity comes from the importance of the arts of all kinds and its vital role in building human beings, expanding their culture and increasing their awareness of the values of beauty, which seek to keep students at a high level of creativity and excellence," he said.
     
    "The exhibition aims to contribute to spreading culture and knowledge in all its forms and colors among students and to give students artistic and cultural skills and positive returns that have an active impact in the university community and contribute to the restoration of university life," Al-Kaab said.
