Attempt to smuggle foreign currency foiled at Najaf Airport, SMC says

The Security Media Cell (SMC) announced on Monday, capturing a foreign traveler with a large amount of Lebanese currency at Najaf Airport.
 
SMC said in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “The Agency of Intelligence and Federal Investigation (AIFI) at the Ministry of Interior ,in cooperation with a detachment form the Customs Authority , managed to capture a foreign traveler with a large amount of Lebanese currency that hidden inside sweet boxes”.
 
SMC also affirmed that all the necessary legal measures has been taken against him.
