The head of the Al-Fateh Alliance Hadi Al-Amiri congratulated today, Thursday the Iraqi army on the 101st anniversary of its founding, while renewing its support to strengthen the force of law and preserve the prestige of the state.
Al-Amiri said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “On the anniversary of founding the heroic Iraqi army, we extend our warmest congratulations to our sons in the armed forces of all kinds, commanders, leaders and officers, as they stand with dignity and solidity in the face of terrorism to confront it renewing his support to reinforce the law and preserve the prestige of the state”.
He added, "We recall together on this day their immortal sacrifices of the recent past and their leadership in defending the homeland with heroic epics with their brothers in the rest of the security forces, The Police, The Popular Mobilization Forces, Counter Terrorism Service and the Peshmerga, as all Iraqis will remember with pride that well-established national belief," noting that "on this honorable occasion, we wish for our dear army more progress, development and victory, and for our honorable people, pride, dignity and prosperity, may God protect Iraq and its people from all evil, and the mercy to all the martyrs of the army and security services.
