Lewandowski equals Ronaldo's best season 

Robert Lewandowski equaled Cristiano Ronaldo's record for goals before the end of the year, with the killer duo scoring 69 goals, an eight-year difference . 

Lewandowski managed to end the year 2021 by scoring a new goal during his team's victory over Bayern Munich (4-0) at the Allianz Arena, on Friday, in the 17th round of the German League . 

The "Squawka" statistics network stated that the Bayern striker reached his 69th goal over the course of 2021 at all levels, with his club and Poland, during his participation in 59 matches . 

Lewandowski equaled the highest scoring record for Portuguese star Ronaldo, which he achieved in 2013 with Real Madrid and Portugal, with 69 goals . 

The Polish Lewandowski broke the record set by the legend Gerd Muller in 1972, in terms of scoring the largest possible number of goals in one year in the German Bundesliga, after he scored 43 goals . 

With this victory, Bayern raised its lead with 43 points, and entered the winter break, 9 points ahead of its closest pursuers, Borussia Dortmund, who has 34 points . 

The German League will stop for three weeks, to resume its activity on the seventh of next January .
