The Security Media Cell announced today, Sunday, the opening of an investigation into the shooting and Molotov cocktail incidents on the Iraqi army in Sinjar.
The cell stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the security forces opened an investigation into a shooting incident and Molotov cocktails on a Humvee, which resulted in the injury of a member of the Iraqi Army's 20th Division while securing protection for demonstrators condemning the Turkish assault on Iraqi territory in Sununu area in Sinjar.
The Cell added, "The security forces were able to disperse the demonstration peacefully and began collecting information and evidence to find out who caused the shooting."
