The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahiya Rasoul, confirmed that measures have been taken to enhance security in areas under to attempts by the remnants of Daesh terrorist gangs
Rasoul told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the security forces will strike with an iron hand against anyone who tries to harm the security of the citizen".
He pointed out that "there is high coordination with the Peshmerga forces to secure the separate areas and prevent any attempt by Daesh remnants to confuse the security situation," stressing that "security measures are taken to enhance security with all types of armed forces in all regions".
