Culture Minister discusses with his Emirati counterpart rehabilitating Al-Nouri Mosque

Minister of Culture Hassan Nadhem discussed today, Thursday, with his Emirati counterpart the rehabilitation of Al-Nouri Mosque.

"Nadhm met the Emirati Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, Noura bint Muhammad Al-Kaabi, on the sidelines of the meetings of the United Nations - UNESCO,in its 41st session at the French capital, Paris," Ministry of Culture said in a statement ,received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

He explained, "The meeting touched upon many files of common interest, such as the Emirati initiative to rehabilitate Al-Nuri Mosque, tighten special controls to curb smuggling of cultural heritage, and the UAE's contribution to many cultural projects in Iraq."
